SORASYS is a new-generation ground-based radar network that detects and tracks objects in Low Earth Orbit down to a few centimetres, operating continuously in all weather conditions and independent of sunlight or atmospheric transparency. WHY SORASYS DATA

Coverage where others have gaps

SORASYS operates continuously, in all weather conditions and independent of sunlight, atmospheric transparency, or light pollution, filling the observational gaps that limit existing SSA networks day and night, in cloud cover and clear skies alike. Where other systems lose track, SORASYS maintains it. The network delivers simultaneous multi-object tracking at scanning speeds suited to LEO angular velocities, measuring range, range-rate, and Doppler shift simultaneously to produce the precise orbital elements needed for conjunction assessment and manoeuvre planning. It detects objects down to a few centimetres with centimetric positional accuracy, covering the debris population that standard catalogues and optical networks miss entirely.

Sovereign, independently generated data

SORASYS data is generated by Look Up’s own radar infrastructure. It is not aggregated, filtered, or dependent on third-party sources, giving clients an independent data layer they can rely on regardless of external data-sharing conditions.

A growing global network

SORASYS 1, based in Monts-de-Randon, is now operational. SORASYS 2A and 2B are currently deploying in French Polynesia, with additional sites planned on a yearly basis through 2030 toward global, near-persistent LEO coverage. As the network grows, so does the coverage, revisit rate, and depth of the dataset.
