CNES

As the French space agency, CNES leads major scientific, technological, and environmental missions, while also acting as a programmatic agency, field center, and space operator. It is responsible for shaping and implementing the French government’s space strategy. In partnership with Look Up, CNES leverages high-precision operational data to enhance space safety, security, and sustainability, notably through our CNES Data Buy contract running until the end of 2028.

European Union Space Surveillance and Tracking (EU SST)

Since 2021, EU SST has been part of the SSA component of the EU Space Programme, protecting satellites and space infrastructure from collision risks and other threats. Look Up contributes to this effort by providing high-precision, independent tracking data to enhance Europe’s space surveillance and safeguarding capabilities.

France 2030

Launched in 2021, France 2030 reflects the country’s ambition to secure its position in a rapidly evolving space landscape, through a €54 billion investment plan aimed at accelerating the emergence of Europe’s next generation of technology champions. In this context, Look Up has been strongly supported, securing €7 million in funding and confirming its role in shaping the future of space.

French Tech 2030

The French Tech Mission drives public initiatives to support startups and brings together the French tech ecosystem, nationally and internationally, an effort that includes Look Up, proud to be among the 80 selected technology champions. The cohort benefits from a year-long support program led by the French Tech Mission and its partners, while also helping shape public policy in innovation and entrepreneurship.

The French Ministry of the Armed Forces plays a central role in defining and implementing the country’s defense strategy, including in the space domain. In this context, Look Up contributes, alongside institutional stakeholders, to strengthening capabilities related to space security and resilience, supporting European sovereignty and strategic autonomy in space.

European Defence Agency (EDA)

The EDA helps EU Member States strengthen their defense capabilities by supporting and connecting Ministries of Defence. At the center of European defense cooperation, it brings together expertise and networks across the full range of capabilities. The Agency also supports a strong and competitive European Defense Technological and Industrial Base (EDTIB) by helping industry access information, opportunities, and EU funding, making it a key partner for Look Up.

First introduced as a pilot program in 2018, the European Innovation Council (EIC) is now a core part of Horizon Europe. It is designed to identify and support breakthrough innovations, supporting projects from early research through to commercialization. Working alongside leading researchers and companies developing disruptive technologies, the EIC partners with Look Up to accelerate the development and deployment of its space surveillance capabilities, contributing to Europe’s strategic autonomy in space.
