Juan Carlos Dolado
Founder & CTO
Juan Carlos Dolado is the former head of the space situational awareness office at the French Space Agency (CNES).
An internationally recognized expert in the field of space surveillance, Juan Carlos Dolado is also an International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) academician, member of the IAA’s Space Debris Committee and member of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF)’s Space Traffic Management Committee.
Juan Carlos is also the former Chair of the modeling workgroup at the Inter-Agency Space Debris Coordination Committee (IADC).
Juan Carlos has published more than fifty scientific articles and has contributed to numerous primary reference works in the field of space debris surveillance and tracking.
Michel Friedling
Founder & CEO
Major General (retired) of the French Air and Space Force, Michel Friedling is one of the main actors in the development of the French Defense Space Strategy published in July 2019.
In September 2019, he became the first commander of the French Space Command where he headed military space operations and military space policy implementation.
His leadership has been key in the rise of the French space defense capabilities, the result of joint work with CNES, the Directorate General for Armaments (DGA) as well as industrial and foreign partners.
Major General (R) Michel Friedling is also a fighter pilot and holds a degree in aeronautics and space engineering. After four years at the head of French space capabilities and defense space policy, he now devotes himself to the development of Look Up Space.
Antoine Seillan
Chief financial officer
Antoine is graduated from Science Po Paris, the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA). He held various responsibilities at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Agence Française de Développement, the European Commission, SpaceFounders TELESPACE PARTICIPATION (CNES holding). He was previously Chief Financial Officer and Acting Secretary General of the French Space Agency. Early investor in Look Up Space, he will act as CFO of Look Up Space.
Fabrice Nayrac
Chief Ground Segment & Operations
Fabrice holds an Master’s degree in networks and telecommunications engineering. He had a first experience in the automotive and telecommunication industries before joining the French Space Agency (CNES). He has developed a 12 years experience in the Ground Segment and Operations domain, contributing to the conception, development, deployment and operations of ground systems. He was previously Head of the Ground Station Network Operation Division at CNES (Toulouse).
Nicolas Molinier
Software architecture lead
Nicolas holds a Master’s degree in computer and network engineering. He has extensive experience in the design of software architecture over Big Data platforms and in its implementation in sensitive and international environments. He was previously responsible of the design and implementation of an Open Source Data platform hosting intelligence use cases at ATOS then ATHEA (Atos-Thales Joint Venture) for the French Ministry of Defense.
Hugo Dumont
Chief radar architect
Hugo holds a Master’s degree in Electronics and Embedded systems. He has worked for more than 10 years as system engineer on THALES projects, specifically in space based electronic intelligence systems and ground-based space surveillance radars. He was previously technical manager for SSA radar demonstrator at Thales Alenia Space then system engineer responsible for studies and design of cataloging algorithms for the project as part of the C4OS (Command, Control, Compute and Communicate for Space Operations).
Bruno Revelin
Lead data scientist
Bruno holds a Master’s degree in space mechanics engineering. He has been working in the space industry for 22 years, and has developed a strong expertise as an SSA specialist for over 13 years. He has conducted numerous studies on the space debris field and the space environment in general, with several publications. He was previously Software Solution Engineer and SSA Expert at Thales Services Numeriques and has been a key contributor to the development of the main space environment modeling softwares at CNES.
